Step 2:
If our quotation is acceptable a survey date will be arranged. Following the survey the details of the lift will be agreed, with respect to optional finishes etc., and an order placed. Builders Work drawings will be produced for approval.
Step 3:
Once the necessary preparation work, has been carried out by the builder, the lift is delivered to site, unloaded by our engineers and installation takes place. Initial handover is made to the site supervisor.

Further details:

These custom built BKG lifts, which serve at waist level, have recommended lift car sizes which can be varied in 50 mm increments. This flexibility makes this range of service lifts a perfect selection for an awkward space or to fulfill an unusual requirement.

Vertical bi-parting shutters are fitted at each landing entrance. These service lifts have a recommended capacity of 50 or 100kg and are designed for the carriage of all categories of small goods.

One important benefit of this BKG lift, where headroom at the top level is particularly low, is that a motor below model can be offered. The motor will be housed within the lift shaft at the lowest floor served.

Each service lift can have up to 3 entrance loading directions. These can be at front, side and back.

The BKG service lift has alternative finishes available for both the lift car and the landing shutters. Stainless steel, perfect for a food environment; galvanised or zintec for a more industrial situation; primed finish as a preparation for specialist painting.

Two hour fire rated landing shutters and machine compartment doors are available.

Most industrial premises operate from a three phase electric supply, however smaller properties frequently have only single phase available. These small lifts can be manufactured to suit either situation.

Despite these lifts being individually tailored to suit customer’s requirements they are, nevertheless, competitively priced, efficiently manufactured and usually available in 5 - 6 weeks.

Manufactured in the centre of the German industrial heartland, BKG Service Lifts really are the high quality, well-engineered product that you would expect from a German based manufacturer.

Each lift will be provided with a site specific Builder’s Work drawing detailing works required prior to and after installation. A full electrical specification is incorporated.

Builder’s Work necessary involves forming the required size opening through each floor; running an electric power supply to the lift shaft; enclosing the lift following installation to comply with Local Authority requirements.

This BKG range fulfils the need to satisfy the requirements and minimise the risks associated with Manual Handling and Health and Safety at Work legislation.

With the flexibility of the BKG range these lifts are ideal for use in restaurants and bars, shops, public houses, offices, libraries, doctor’s surgeries, residential properties, warehouses, nursing homes, hotels, hospitals, schools, nurseries, nightclubs, airports and golf clubs.
